Region 9 Director

The executive director of the Fayette County Community Action Commission (CAC) since 2009, Baughn has built her career representing low-income individuals, championing homeless and housing initiatives, and creating programs to assist Fayette and surrounding counties. She also helped organize a county-wide task force, Faith in Recovery, that has met for the past five years. In addition to her duties at CAC, Baughn serves as Director of Housing Services Alliance and volunteers on several nonprofit boards, including the Salvation Army, Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies, the Coalition on Housing and Homelessness in Ohio, and many more. Baughn is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Dayton.

 Baughn has many friends and co-workers who have experienced family members’ addiction to opioids, and in her own life has experienced first-hand relatives with drug and alcohol addictions. She wants to help ensure that the funding her region needs for life-saving opioid-related projects is spent responsibly.
