OneOhio, Road to Hope Celebrate Ribbon Cutting for New Recovery Home

The Road to Hope hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the grand opening of its newest recovery home, Trinity House. Partially Funded by a $650,000 OneOhio Recovery Foundation grant, Trinity House adds 102 new beds to the system of care, helping to close a significant gap in recovery housing for women with dependent children. Situated at the intersection of Lorain, Cuyahoga, and Medina counties, the facility offers a modern, secure recovery environment created specifically for this population.

“For years, the lack of recovery housing for women with children has been a glaring gap in Northeast Ohio’s system of care. With Trinity House, we are changing that reality. These 102 beds mean 102 opportunities for families to heal together and for lives to be rebuilt,” said Jeffrey Kamms, Executive Director of Road to Hope.

"To the mothers with children who are working toward recovery, this is not just a home; it’s a lifeline that strengthens families and futures. OneOhio is proud to support Road to Hope in expanding access to safe, dignified recovery housing for hundreds of individuals and families across Northeast Ohio,” said Alisha Nelson, Executive Director of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation.

Trinity House is one of 20 projects in OneOhio Region 19 awarded a total of $3.16 million through the Foundation’s first regional grant cycle. Statewide, 79 recovery-focused projects were awarded a total of $14 million in this initial round of funding.
