2024 Grant AWARDs

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation is committed to ensuring all Foundation funding awards support evidence-based, forward-looking strategies for the purposes of prevention, treatment, recovery, and abatement of substance use and co-occurring disorders.

In its inaugural grant cycle, the OneOhio Recovery Foundation awarded over $45.4 million to 245 projects across the state. While we couldn’t fund every application, this is just the beginning—many more funding opportunities lie ahead, and we encourage Ohio-based organizations to stay engaged and apply in the future.

Grant Review Process

All grantees have been chosen through a transparent and collaborative process that includes input from each of the 19 OneOhio Regions, the OneOhio Expert Panel, the Grant Oversight Committee, the full Board of Directors and Foundation staff. Ensuring integrity throughout the application and review process is paramount, which is why systems are in place to identify and eliminate conflicts of interest at all levels of the review process. (The Quick Guide to Avoiding Conflicts of Interest is available here.)

Grant Application Data and Resources

At the OneOhio Recovery Foundation, we are committed to the highest standards of accountability. With the responsibility of managing significant resources, each grant award is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Ohioans and supporting communities affected by the addiction crisis.

In our continued commitment to transparency, we provide not only the summary table of funded projects below but also access to application abstracts for awarded projects, available here.

NOTE: While the Foundation is tasked with distributing 55% of the opioid settlement funds, 15% goes directly to the State of Ohio and 30% goes directly to Ohio local governments. To learn more about Ohio’s opioid settlement funding process and to access settlement payment data from the national settlement administrator, please visit this page.
